Colly Bombled 3006 GT X II. A Guillotine CNC 3 metres – this will cut up to a thickness of 8mm with variable rake blade.

Our punching is carried out by 2 fully automatic Trumpf CNC machines with online self removable punch and dies capable of up to 300 punches per minute.
Once programmed, this can be stored and kept on disc ready for repeat orders.

Twin axis 2.5 metre long CNC Edward Pearson machine which, once programmed, is ideal for batch work.
Promecam Press Break 1.2 metres wide, 60 tonne.
We have an 80 tonne Safan which is 2 metres wide. Sheet metal up to 3 millimetres thick is no problem.

BBAK have three Arc Welders and one spot welder for light work. We have 8 TIG welding machines that are water cooled for thicker materials such as stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium.
We also have 9 MIG wire fed welding machines especially for mild steel work. These incorporate the latest technology in the form of a Kempi Process 530 Synergic stainless steel wire fed welding machine or 304 and 316 stainless steel.
The majority of our welders are certified with college backgrounds.

An electrostatic application of powder coating followed by controlled oven curing produces a more durable and cost effective finish.
Paint finishes: Full gloss Single and two pack epoxy Semi gloss Texture Eggshell Polyurethane Hammer Powder coating
Organosol spatter Leatherette Stove Enamelling: Etch primer, leatherette smooth, semigloss, gloss and matt.
Oven Size: 4 metres long, 2.5 metres high,

We can supply all ratings from IP45 to IP66, air purged and tested to .3 bar explosion proof houses with individual calculations, drawings and lifting certificates. Fire proof A60 and +120 rating.

Marine and Railways
All enclosures and fabrications are constructed from 316 stainless steel. These are sometimes painted in 2 pack epoxy paint for extra protection against the elements of the sea. We have fitted out external enclosures and large 316 reels for incoming connections to ships (stainless work only).
We also manufacture custom built cabinets which house heating equipment used on the railways to keep signal points from freezing. These are used throughout the whole of the British railway network.
